Life-size figure of woman, sitting cross-legged, holding a pencil in proper right hand with pad of paper balanced on proper left knee. She is dressed in a long-sleeved sweater and slacks. A pair of sandals lie to her proper right; a full-page newspaper with entry form for sculpture competition is to her proper left.
