Description:
A standing portrait of Martin Luther dressed in long robes. He raises his proper right arm and holds a book in his proper left arm. He steps forward with his proper left foot and the top of his shoe extends a bit over the edge of the base. The sculpture rests on a rectangular base adorned with a small carved border along the top edge.

Remarks:
The sculpture was relocated in 1959 due to construction of the Jones Falls Expressway. Its original location was where there is now the I-83 exit ramp for North Avenue.
