Description:
An octagonal, multitiered structure set in a planter. Atop each corner of the lowest tier is a perched eagle with outstretched wings. Below the eagles each "plinth" has text in raised letters; and below that six of the octagonal sides have bronze plaques naming World War II veterans; two sides have water troughs. The planter is set atop a base with four steps leading to the ground. Two lions lie on the top step.
