Remarks:
The sculpture is installed in Chisholm Trail Crossing Park which marks the site of the Chisholm Trail crossing on Brushy Creek in Round Rock, Texas. The Pioneer Boy was commssioned in honor of five-year old Emmett Cluck who traveled with his family along the Chisholm Trail. The sculpture was funded by Ruth Koughan, and her grandson Riley Koughan modeled for the figure of the pioneer boy.
