Remarks:
The sculpture is installed in Chisholm Trail Crossing Park which marks the site of the Chisholm Trail crossing on Brushy Creek in Round Rock, Texas. The Pioneer Woman is dedicated to the memory of Harriett "Hattie" Cluck, one of the first women to travel the Chishom Trail. The sculpture was commissioned by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peckham. Mrs. Bill "Sissy" Peckham modeled for the figure of the pioneer woman.
