    An older man is teaching a boy to play the banjo. The man is seated on a chair and the boy stands in front, between the man's knees. The man's proper left hand guides the boy's proper left hand on the neck of the banjo. The boy is strumming with his proper right hand. The sculpture stands on roughly square base.
