Description:
Three coyotes are installed on a grassy knoll. One is walking, one is sitting, and one stands with its head down, as though it is sniffing something in the grass. A hawk is perching on the pergola. A snake slithers on a ramp leading to a fountain.

Remarks:
Funded with a National Endowment for the Arts, Art in Public Places grant given in 1988 to the Community Redevelopment Agency. Developed through the One Percent for the Arts program as part of the construction of Grand Hope Park. Cost was $390,000. Artwork costs $90,000. IAS files contain a Community Redevelopment Agency memorandum, site design plans, and newspaper clippings.
