A twelve-foot high limestone vessel from which water spills into a narrow mounded channel that ends in a spiral element. Native American influences from this region of the country, such as Serpent Mound and other mounds and burial sites, archetypal forms, ceramics and mankind’s long history of making of vessels from earth, and ancient uses of stone and water storage and transportation such as the water channels, water wheel and grist mill at nearby Spring Mill State Park all form the basis for the conceptual idea.
