Remarks:
The sculpture was donated to Indiana University by Oscar Ewing. It was cast in Tours, France, and was erected there for Calder to approve. before being disassembled, crated, and shipped to Indiana University. IAS files contain an Indiana University press release dated July 28, 1971; and an excerpt from the dedication program for the Musical Arts Center.
