    Description: 
    A rough-surfaced bronze figure of an adolescent Abraham Lincoln. He stands barefoot wearing a shirt and pants raised above the ankle, holding a book in his proper left hand with his pointer figure holding its place. The hands and feet of the figure are disproportionately large. The sculpture is mounted upon a tripartite base of polished granite.
