Description:
Mary stands, veiled and robed, wearing a mantle with a decorative border. Her head is tilted slightly to the proper right. Her hands are clasped at her chest. She is barefoot and standing on a snake that has an open mouth. The sculpture is mounted upon a rectangular block base.

Formerly located St. Bridget Catholic Church, Corner lot at Wheatland & Wilkeson, Logansport, Indiana 1946-spring 1993.
Remarks:
The sculpture is a tribute to all who served in the armed forces during World War II. It was originally installed in 1946 on a corner lot between St. Bridget Catholic Church at 706 Wheatland and St. Bridget Catholic School at 620 Wilkeson. In the spring of 1993 the sculpture was moved to All Saints Catholic School. The sculpture was painted around 1994.
