    Description: 
    Architectural sculpture on the building includes science reliefs, owls, and carved faces. A tripartite relief contains scenes of scientists sitting at workstations, each separated by a border. On the right, a scientist looks into a microscope, with a frog, human heart, and stalk of beans above him. In the center section, a scientist holds a flask over head with his proper left hand, with alembic on table. On the left section, a scientist peers into a microscope, a pelvis skeleton and an embryo above him. Other architectural decoration include stylized owls which decorate projections along the water table, and carved faces in the windows.
