Description:
A World War I infantryman stands in uniform with his proper left hand holding the barrel of his rifle, the butt of which rests by his foot. He wears a strapped helmet and military accoutrements are fastened to his belt. What may be a tree stump is behind the infantryman. The sculpture is mounted on a square, inscribed base which is stepped out at the bottom.
