Remarks:
Monument commemorates the Bicentennial of the signing of the Constitution. It was sponsored by the Galvez Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution. Cost was less than $5,000, with most funding coming from SAR members, and some funding coming from local DAR members. The designers were three of the five members of the Monument Committee. Sculpture was carved by Bryan C. Rawls and
