Description:
A Confederate soldier in uniform stands at parade rest in front of a tree stump. He holds the barrel of his musket in his proper right hand, with its stock on the ground. He wears a hat, shirt, pants, and boots. He stands atop a multitiered pedestal with inscriptions on all four sides. The back of the pedestal also mounts a relief plaque with a bust of Jefferson Davis. The front of the pedestal has reliefs of a Confederate flag above the raised inscriptions and two crossed swords below. One side of the pedestal has a relief of a wind-swept Confederate flag.
