Description:
Gravestone for Anna Leroy Pope, 1848-1880. A woman stands barefoot wearing a short-sleeeved, ankle-length garment fastened at the waist, with a brooch on its v-neckline. She has long hair gathered in a bun atop her head and flowing over both shoulders. Her proper right arm is bent at the elbow and her hand gathers her garment and flowers at her waist. Her proper left arm extends slightly and holds more flowers. She stands atop a multitiered, inscribed base with ornamental urns on both sides.
