Description:
Folk art assemblage of hundreds of sculptures throughout a yard. Included among them is a giant
mosquito
, constructed using a cedar pole for the body, heavy conduit wire for the legs, half-inch rubber hose for the stinger, three-eighth inch dowels for the feelers, plastic balls for the eyes, and steel for the wings. The
mosquito
is painted black and white. Also in the yard, there is a dinosaur with long tail and open mouth standing on its hind legs; and cartoon characters Popeye and Olive Oyl stand holding baby Sweetpea between them. Popeye has a pipe in his mouth.
