    Remarks: 
    Mrs. Nancy (Miller) Long Jr. (1822-1894), a native of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, was the daughter of Benjamin Miller, a pioneer settler of Chester Township, and sister to Capt. B. F. Miller. She married John Long Jr. in 1853. Their union produced six children: George K., Hezekiah H., Eliza, Martha, Mary Etta, and Lewis. Nancy Long and her husband were members of the United Presbyterian Church. She died on Christmas Eve 1894 at the age of 71 after a brief congestion of the lungs illness. This portrait is done in a Colonial Revival style.
