Description:
The wind tower is a blue-painted, square pole featuring three flat bronze gulls and a school of seven fish which dangle from the top and move around separately according to the wind velocity. Just below the birds and fish is a circle of wind chimes.

Remarks:
This sculpture is one of three by Berry installed on the Vallecito Elementary School playground. Businesses, individuals, and public and private agencies raised $115,000 to build the three sculptures. Among those who donated funds were: San Raphael City Council, $15,000; the Buck Trust, $32,000; Dixie School District, $14,000; the county Parks and Recreation Department,$2,500; Chevron, $2,000; the Gannett Foundation, $1,000; and Public Art Works (formerly known as InterArts of Marin), $35,000.
