    Description:
The monument is a tall granite stele featuring carved relief busts of 6 prominent Polish figures. Two large blocks of gray granite form the lower half of the stele. Above these blocks are smaller blocks of gray and red granite, placed in such a way that the red blocks protrude from the north and south sides of the stele. The carved relief busts are on these smaller gray and red blocks. The upper section of the stele is another large block of gray granite. The relief busts of Ignacy Jan Paderewski and Fryderyk Chopin are carved in the red granite blocks on the north side of the stele. The relief busts of Mikolaj Kopernik Copernicus and Maria Sklodowska Curie are carved in the red granite blocks on the south side of the stele. The relief bust of Kazimierz Pulaski is carved in a gray granite block on the west side of the stele, and the relief bust of Tadeusz Kosciuszko is carved in a gray granite block on the east side. Below each relief is inscribed the contributions each figure made. On the east and west sides a tribute has been inscribed; it is in English on the west side and in Polish on the east side. On the east side, two swords are depicted, crossing each other. The top of the monument depicts 13 horizontal stripes and a symbolic eagle.
