    Remarks:
One of twelve panels from a 120 foot mural installed ca. 1927-1935 in the Ely Memorial High School library through senior class gifts. The mural was removed in 1975, and parts of each panel were lost during the removal resulting in panels that are smaller than the originals. The Ely Memorial High School donated the mural panels to the Ely-Winton Historical Society ca. 1980. The panels were cleaned, varnished, mounted on plywood, and individually framed with funding from the Ely-Winton Historical Society and the Minnesota Historical Society. This mural panel was placed on loan to Ely Memorial High School in 2012. In 2014, all twelve mural panels were placed on loan to the Washington Elementary School. In 2023, all twelve mural panels were relocated to the Commons Area of the Ely Public School System.
