    A bust of Charles Curie with a small moustache and a receding hairline. He is wears a jacket and bow tie. The bust is mounted on a granite base adorned on the back with a relief of a wreath and crossed swords.

    Remarks: 
    Charles Curie was a Paterson millionaire known for his civic devotion. He was born in France and immigrated as a child, serving in the Civil War as a Captain in the Army. He later became a successful attorney and real estate developer. IAS files contain his obituary from The Morning Call (Paterson, NJ), May 10, 1910, pg. 1.
