    Description: 
    Mrs. Robert Moore Riddle (d. 1892), the artist's mother's first cousin, is wearing a lace cap tied under her chin, a blue cape, and a dark blue dress. She is seated at a table, her right hand resting on a porcelain teapot, with several tea cups and a tea canister placed nearby, all in the same blue and white pattern. This tea set was given to the Cassatt family by Mrs. Robert Moore Riddle's daughter.
