Description:
A rectangular bronze relief plaque depicting a Civil War battle scene in a wooded area along a river bank is installed on a granite commemorative marker. The relief depicts soldiers on foot and on horseback. The State of
Michigan
seal is on the back of the marker. The marker has a slightly curved top, with rough-cut upper sections and sides, and is mounted on a rectangular, rough-cut base.
