    Description:
A bronze equestrian statue of Joan of Arc mounted on her horse in full armor, her proper right arm raised and holding an aluminum sword. Her proper left holds the reins. A scabbard runs the length of the proper left leg, which is straight with the foot in the stirrup. Her head and body are thrown back slightly from the waist, and the visor on her helmet is up, exposing her face. The horse's proper left rear leg is bent and the hoof raised slightly, the proper right rear leg extended backward. The proper right front leg is raised and bent. The horse's head is erect, with mouth pulled slightly open by the tightened rein. The tail is close to the rump and curled down and toward the proper right rear leg. The sculpture is mounted upon a rectangular, multitiered granite base with an upper border of a repeated cross and fleur-de-lys design, and a lower border of acanthus.
