    Description: 
    A bas-relief depicting a priest standing behind three Native-American males who may be building La Purisima Mission. Two of the men are lifting blocks and the third man sets a block into place. The priest is looking into the distance toward his proper left and his hands are extended out from his sides, palms facing down. The priest is wearing a blue robe and a small blue cap. The Native Americans are dressed in loin clothes. The top edge of the relief is rounded and in the background there are hills, a blue sky, and the arches and columns of La Purisima Mission. The relief is installed in the lobby of the Veterans Memorial Building.
