Description:
Full length figure of Father Junipero Serra walking with a small Indian boy. Serra is dressed in the robe of a Francisian monk and his proper left arm is around the Indian boy. He holds a walking stick in his proper right hand. The boy wears a loincloth, a round pendant, a headband and has shoulder-length hair.
