    Description: 
    Benjamin Franklin sits on a bench, turned slightly to his proper right. He leans his proper right arm on the bench back, holding a copy of the Declaration of Independence with his hand. His proper right leg extends out as he rests his proper left hand on his cane. Spectacles rest near the end of his nose. Two pigeons perch on the back rail of the bench to his proper right. The sculpture rests directly on a brick foundation in front of a brick wall.
