    Description: 
    Ben Franklin is seated on a bench. He is dressed in the clothing of his time, including knee breeches, vest, long tail coat, ruffled shirt, and spectacles. He leans on a cane with his proper left hand, and holds a sheaf of the first page of the Constitution with his proper right hand. A pigeon is perched to the proper right of Franklin on the bench and another attempts to land beside it.

    Sculpture is copy number eleven out of twenty-one copies from an original created in 1989. In July 1991, it was decided to place the sculpture. On the brick walk in front of the sculpture is a granite marker that reads: BEN FRANKLIN/PRINTER.
