    Title supplied by Inventory staff.
    The painting came from the 2009 estate of Patricia J. Clark of San Luis Obispo, California. The painting was given to her parents, Benjamin Franklin Clark and Gretchen Baker Clark by Ralph Hill, the son of Edward Hill. Ralph Hill and his wife Helen were good friends of the Clark family and in the mid-1920s lived with them in Walla Walla, Washington when Patricia Clark was a child. This lake scene, which may be Echo Lake in New Hampshire, was first framed in 2009.
