Vernon Plaza, 1035 Atcheson Street, Columbus, Ohio Remarks:  Funded with a National Endowment for the Arts, Art in Public Places grant of $15,000 given in 1978 to the City of Columbus. The sculpture was commissioned for the Mt. Vernon Focal Point Park and is symbolic of the neighborhood's efforts at revitalization. The piece incorporates the door-way like forms of the entire Mt. Vernon complex in its design. IAS files contain transcription on base plaque and an article from the Call and Post dated November 8, 1982.
