    Description: 
    Sculpture depicts the flight of a herd of impala antelope frightened by impending danger. The impalas are placed in the middle of a fountain, with ten jets spraying water on them to represent predators. The impalas are modeled in skeletal form and leap over the water jets in three graceful arches while a mother and her calf graze nearby.

    Fountain a gift of Mrs. Herbert Morris and Zoological Society Donors in honor of Herbert Cameron Morris, former Director and officer of the Zoological Society of Philadelphia. Hatfield, Martin & White designed the base and fountain pool as well as the general setting.
