    Description: 
    An octagonal, granite-clad column with full-length bronze bas-relief portraits of film celebrities on each face. Portraits include Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford, Will Rogers, Tom Mix, Harold Lloyd, Fred Niblo, Conrad Nagal, and Rudolph Valentino. The celebrities are portrayed as the characters they played in various films. Rising out of the top of the column is an upward spiral of film, which curls around a central pole. At the top of a pole is a gold star. The sculpture is made of bronze and sits on a square marble base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture is a tribute to film celebrities who participated in the initiative to incorporate the city of Beverly Hills. The inscription on a nearby plaque reads: "To Mayor David Tannenbaum whose understanding and cooperation made this tribute possible, my eternal gratitude...(artist's signature)". A second nearby plaque lists the names of participants and city council members.
