Description:  Figure of a standing nude young boy, who appears to be asleep with his head resting on his proper left arm. A small bird is perched on the boy's proper right shoulder. The bird has a long exotic tail, which extends down the boy's back. Subject:  Figure male -- Child -- Nude Animal -- Bird State of Being -- Other -- Sleep Object Type:  Copy Outdoor Sculpture -- California -- Walnut Creek Sculpture Owner:  City of Walnut Creek, Heather Farm Community Park, Garden Center, 1540 March Banks Drive, Walnut Creek, California 94596 Remarks:  The sculpture was donated to the City of Walnut Creek by Peter Howard to commemorate his wife. The work is a copy of a plaster cast purchased from the sculptor Bufano in the 1930's by Mr. Howard's father and recently cast in bronze.
