WILES/ARTIST/1826 1905/DIRECTOR OF THE/ART SCHOOL/INGHAM UNIVERSITY (On rear of base:) erected by the Ingham Student Assn. 1922 unsigned Description:  A bust of Lemuel M. Wiles with a bushy mustache and sideburns. His head is turned slightly to the proper right. He is dressed in a jacket and a bow tie. The bust is mounted atop a tapered base.
