    Remarks: 
    The plaque beneath the base refers to the former location of the sculpture--Lewisohn Stadium which occupied the same location at the North Academic Center from 1917-1973. Adolph Lewisohn (1849-1938) provided the funds in 1913 for the construction of Lewisohn Stadium which was designed by Arnold Brunner.
