On May 10, 1969, the sculpture was relocated to Main Street. In 1989 the sculpture and the grounds around it were refurbished. A new wading pool, sprinkler system, and night lights were added. In September of 1990 the sculpture was rededicated. IAS files contain a form dated April 11, 1991 from the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Catalog.
