Second Avenue, Miami, Florida 33128 Located Miami-Dade Community College, Wolfson Campus, Lannan Collection Sculpture Walk, Corner of N.E. 4th Street & 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida Provenance:  Formerly in the collection of Lannan, Patrick J., Palm Beach, Florida Remarks:  The sculpture was commissioned by Patrick J. Lannan and was based on a smaller piece created by the artist for the Park Place Gallery in So Ho. The dimensions for the sculpture are exactly double those of the earlier work. The sculpture was originally coated by the artist in graffiti flake suspended in clear acrylic lacquer. Lannan later painted the sculpture a white tone. In 1994, the sculpture was restored by the artist, who decided to use colors that he was presently working with. The central piece was re-painted gold/yellow and the lower forms blue. IAS files contain copy of related University press release. The sculpture is part of the college's Sculpture Walk, a collection of Lannan Foundation sculptures, dedicated Jan. 26, 1994.
