    Description: 
    Columns which flank the entrance to the park are each topped by bronze figure groups consisting of a loosely draped female figure gesturing a welcome with foliage held up in one hand. She is flanked by two small children. At the base of each column is a bronze female figure holding up a torch in one hand. Stretching out from each column is an ornamental balustrade on the end of which is an eagle.
