    Description: 
    An elderly couple sit beside each other on a bench. The woman is seated with her legs crossed leaning against the proper right side of the man. Her eyes are closed and there is a faint smile across her lips. In one hand she holds a heart-shaped valentine. She rests her proper left hand gently on the man's proper right arm. The man smiles and looks relaxed. He rests both hands on a cane which he holds out in front of him. The woman has her hair in a bun and wears a long-sleeved, calf length dress and a fringed shawl over her shoulders. Her handbag is on the bench beside her. The man wears a hat, a bow tie, a long-sleeved shirt and a buttoned-down, knitted vest.
