    Remarks: 
    According to a 1996 printout of the collection of the City and County of Denver, this piece was deaccessioned.
    The sculpture, which cost $17,800, was one of 17 works commissioned to beautify downtown Denver traffic islands. The idea for the project originated in Nov. 1971 at meetings with The Park People and the I-25 Artists' Alliance. Models were submitted in July 1972. Funding was provided by the Downtown Denver Improvement Assoc., The Park People, the Denver Art Commission, and the National Endowment for the Arts. IAS files contain copies of Rocky Mountain News, Oct. 26, 1973, pg. 44, and Denver Post, Oct. 29, 1973, pg. 63.
