Colfax Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80204 Formerly coadministered by City and County of Denver, epartment of Parks & Recreation, 2300 15th Street, Suite 150, Denver, Colorado 80202 Remarks:  According to a 1996 printout of the collection of the City and County of Denver, this piece was deaccessioned. The sculpture, which cost $17,800, was one of 17 works commissioned to beautify downtown Denver traffic islands. The idea for the project originated in Nov. 1971 at meetings with The Park People and the I-25 Artists' Alliance. Models were submitted in July 1972. Funding was provided by the Downtown Denver Improvement Assoc., The Park People, the Denver Art Commission, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
