    Description: 
    Abstract sculpture made of a long continuous strip of 1/32 in. thick x 8 in. wide stainless steel bent into a twisting ribbon. The ribbon is supported by four poles. Three 3 ft. long by 2 in. thick bronze fish appear just below the ribbon. The fish are attached to the ribbon with two bolts on there dorsal fins and one at the top of their caudal fins. The sculpture functions as a canopy covering the front 15 ft. of a 20 foot pool deck. The shadows the sculpture casts are a carefully planned element.

    Remarks: 
    This piece was installed under the Redevelopment Authority's One Percent Fine Arts Program. It was commissioned by Edward Onufer of the Kuljian Corporation and approved by the Art Commission in Aug. 1969. The support poles are not part of the sculptor's original concept.
