A girl is seated in the center of the painting wearing an elaborate gown and crown. Both her arms are resting on the arms of the chair. She is flanked by two figures: a girl seated on the right, shown knee-length, and a boy standing on the left, shown knee-length with his hands in front of him. He is beside a table on which are a basket of fruit and a bird with a long tail. On the ground in the foreground is another bird with a long tail.
