The other two were to be a Mexican ranchero on horseback and a soldier. Both "The Indian" and "The Padre" were loaned to the San Diego Historical Society in 1933 and have been in Presidio Park ever since. Cost five thousand dollars. Sculpture was vandalized in 1988.
