Remarks:
The stone sculpture was originally created by Stahly for the World's Fair in Belgium. After the fair it was removed to France. The base was designed by Stahly in 1961 while he was a visiting professor at the University of Washington. The sculpture was brought to Seattle to be incorporated in the larger work. Lang was a local businessman.
