    Description:
A full-length portrait of Sacajawea seen standing, with her proper right leg poised atop a small rock and her proper right arm extended outward pointing. Her proper left arm reaches back over her shoulder to touch her baby's fingers. The baby is strapped in a cradle board to her back. Sacajawea is dressed in a gray colored knee-length fringed dress and knee-high golden-colored moccasins, with detailed gray stitching. Around her belt, decorated with blue beads, is a knife sheath on her proper right side; and an oblong pouch on her proper left side. The neckline of her dress is decorated with animal shapes stamped into it. She wears a necklace and, on her proper right hand, several bracelets. The baby's cradleboard is hooded and hanging from the hood is a decorative toy with bells attached to it. The sculpture has a baby blue patina. The figure's hair and body are colored gold, grey and dark brown. The sculpture is placed in the center of a small enclosed shopping plaza.
