    Standing windswept figure of the Indian woman, Sacajawea. She has a blanket wrapped around her and is carrying a baby on her back. The blanket is painted in vertical stripes of rust and light and dark cream.

    Remarks: 
    Sacajawea was an Indian guide for the Lewis and Clark Expedition. This statue is the second casting of a work originally commissioned by the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. The statue was a gift from Riverton, Wyoming business leaders. IAS files contain related article from the Riverton Ranger (Wyoming), July 13, 1981.
