Description:
Attached to a rough granite stele is a large bronze inscription plaque adorned with a relief of a soldier on one side and a sailor on the other side. The soldier holds his rifle slung over his proper right shoulder and the sailor hold his rifle vertically in front of him with his hands resting on the top of the barrel. Centered above the inscription is the City of Quincy seal.
