Remarks:
The granite sphere was a gift from the Granite Manufacturers Association in honor of the 300th anniversary of the City of Quincy. Originally it was located at City Hall, but was later moved to this traffic circle. IAS files contain a copy of the Massachusetts Historical Commission Form C - Object questionnaire dated July 1, 1986.
