    Description: 
    A large circular fountain basin with water spouting from an urn covered with acanthus leaves. The fountain is approached by three curved granite steps. Granite benches flank the fountain basin.

    Remarks: 
    Originally the fountain was installed on a traffic island on Hancock Street directly north of the First Parish Church. In 1930 it was moved to the entrance of the Mt. Wollaston Cemetery to make way for automobile traffic. IAS files contain a copy of the Massachusetts Historical Commission Form C - Monuments questionnaire and a copy of Form C - Object questionnaire dated July 1, 1996.
